SPCAA NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2012 No.2 2012-11-20
Dear Fellow Alumni

Greetings! We would like to let you know the following:


1. SPCAA AGM and Mahjong Competition (8 Dec)

The SPCAA is going to run a ¡§Mahjong competition¡¨ before the AGM at the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC). For details of both occasions, please see below:

For the SPCAA Mahjong Competition:

- DATE: 8th December 2012 (Saturday)
- VENUE: 7/F., CGCC, 24-25 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong (MTR Central Station Exit A / Hong Kong Station Exit C)
- TIME: 3:30 p.m.
- ENTRY FEE: HK$80
Rules and regulations will be announced later. Please arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the competition, i.e. 3:00 p.m. Seats for competition are limited, so please RSVP to secure a seat.

For AGM:

- DATE: 8th December 2012
- VENUE: 7/F., CGCC, 24-25 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong
- TIME: 7:00 p.m.
- FEE: $300

2. Golf Day (7 Dec)

The next golf day is scheduled to be held on 7 December 2012 (Friday). The venue is Sai Kung Kau Sai Chau South Course. Please contact our Golf Directors Chris Chow (messagechris@gmail.com / 9152 1516) or Anthony Ng (anthony@atc.hk / 9467 0982) for registration and enquiries.


3. Farewell to Hill Road Campus

As St. Paul's College Primary School is going to relocate to the new campus on Victoria Road, Pokfulam very soon, the school is inviting alumni who had spent time in Hill Road campus to revisit the school again to remember the good old days.

The Primary School is open for 3 sessions as shown below:

29 and 30 Nov: 4 pm ¡V 6pm
1 Dec: 10am ¡V 3pm

There will not be any reception or welcoming ceremony. Teachers will stay in the staffroom and work as usual, and alumni should feel free to visit the staff room to find the teachers, just as on a normal school day. Alumni who would like to chat in the corridor or take photos anywhere should feel free to do so, with or without the teachers¡¦ company.


4. Mentorship - Christmas Drinks (3 Dec)

We are inviting the mentees to join us for a casual chit-chat with drinks and music to celebrate the Christmas. Mentors and non-mentors are welcome alike. The details are:

- DATE: 3 December 2012 (Monday)

- VENUE: St. John's Cathedral, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong

- TIME: 7:00 p.m.

- FEE: $100 for mentors, $150 for non-mentors

5. SPCAA Watermelon Cup 2012 - Prime Division

Due to the bad weather and slippery floor as a result of raining on 18 Nov 2012, for the sake of safety, the prime division game has been postponed and rescheduled to 2 December 2012. The youth division game will remain to take place on 25 November 2012 as orginally planned.
