SPCAA NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2009 2009-11-03
Dear fellow alumni

We'll be having our annual AGM and Chairman's Cup basketball match this month:

1. AGM 2009

The Annual General Meeting for this year will be on:

Date: 28 November 2009
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: SPC

Repeating last year's success, the AGM will be followed by a poolside party. We aim it to be a family event when everyone can enjoy the campus and the breeze under the moon. More details are to be follow, but for the time being, please mark your diary!


2. Chairman's Cup - Basketball Match
8 teams are taking part in the 15 November (Sunday) Chairman's Cup. They are (according to their F.5 year of graduation):
1970, 1971, 1983, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2005, 2007

The school has very kindly agreed to open the swimming pool and the gym for the use of alumni, spouse and kids. Please email me, or visit the alumni website later this week (www.alumni.org.hk) for the fixtures. Hope we'll all have an enjoyable day then!


3. Happy Hour

The November happy hour will be on:

Date: 10 November 2009 (Tuesday)
Venue: G/F Fringe Club, 2 Lower Albert Road
Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm

4. December Golf Day

We'll have our next golfing eveng on:

Venue: Wind Valley (45 mins from Huanggong border)

5. Obituary - Miss Ko Kwai Fun

It is with great sadness to announce that Miss Ko Kwai Fun, our former head of history who taught in SPC in the 1970s and 1980s, passed away on 21 October in the US.
